Marvin Kirby Roberts III

Marvin Kirby Roberts III ('Trey') was raised in Rockport, TX by a family of attorneys. After graduating from the University of Texas, which he attended as a National Merit and Dedman scholar, with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business in 1999. Mr. Roberts lived in Geneva Switzerland where he worked at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations and Other International Organizations on various international arms control delegations including the Biological Weapons Convention, Special Verification Committee (INF Treaty)/Joint Compliance and Inspections Committee (START and SALT Treaties), and Standing Consultative Commission (ABM Treaty) and earned his Master of Arts in International Relations focusing on the international and transnational issues of the internet. Subsequently, he spent three years in Washington, DC consulting to the federal government as an international trade specialist focusing on information technology issues. He subsequently attended the University Of Texas School Of Law where he was enrolled concurrently with his brother Justin Gardner Roberts. He was one of two students chosen to spend his third year of law school at the University Of Edinburgh School Of Law in Scotland where he earned his Master of Laws degree focusing on international information technology law while finishing up his Doctor of Jurisprudence.

Prior to launching Anderson / Roberts PLLC, he worked as a research attorney and as counsel focusing on Information Technology Law. In addition to his work with Anderson / Roberts, PLLC, Trey serves as a lecturer at the Red McCombs Business School at the University of Texas at Austin and as President and a member of the Board of Directors of the Marley Memorial Foundation.
